Certified Dementia Education

My journey to becoming a PACâ„¢ Certified Independent Trainer began when my father first began showing signs of dementia years ago. In my desperate search for information, I came across a 2-minute video of Teepa Snow that changed everything. I continued educating myself in PACâ„¢ techniques that completely changed the journey with my father.  Ever since, I have been passionate about spreading the word to families and professionals alike.

I have taken steps to implement the teachings and trainings about dementia of Teepa Snow and the Positive Approach to Care®.  I serve as a PACâ„¢ Certified Independent Trainer Professional to guide learning and skills as supported by certification types. While inspired by my Certification, all knowledge and skills offered here are only representative of me, independent of the Positive Approach to Care® organization.

For Families

Families who are touched with the effects of Dementia often find themselves lost and searching for anyone or anything to help navigate the rough waters of this disease.  Looking through a different lens at what is happening can provide the window through which you can still connect to your loved ones.  Learning proven techniques, and walking away with additional resources can make all the difference in the world.
